The penultimate project in the Hurtle&Co. series, marketed as Hurtle&Co. SW, Stage 05 was completed in 2023. Comprising of thirty-six apartments over eight storeys and a ground floor tenancy, the building - located in the south-west corner of Hurtle Square - features a wide range of one, two, and three bedroom apartments. The approach was to design and construct an apartment building that provided a choice of floorplans and areas.
Stage 05 was the first building in the series to be entirely electric, with an 8.5 star energy rating. The majority of living areas are north facing with balconies providing summer shade but importantly enabling winter sun.
The large scale mural on the southern wall, painted by artist Lisa King, celebrates the life of a young David Bowie, having depicted the man behind the stage person. It is the third mural to be painted on a Forme Projex building in Hurtle Square.
